About Us
Prodogi is a dog dental-care company founded by a board-certified veterinary surgeon — built on a simple idea: caring for your dog's teeth shouldn't be a fight, and the real solution needs to be clean, safe & effective.
From Our Founder
"I'm a veterinarian, and I couldn't brush my dog's teeth"
Any attempt to brush my dog's teeth has ended in failure. He runs away and hides under the bed the moment he hears that drawer open. So we quit brushing.
Here's the thing. A daily toothbrushing routine with your dog can be effective — it's probably one of the better things we could do.
If you haven't kept up the routine with your pup, know that you're not alone. Compliance rates are very low. Including in my own household.

This never gets talked about in dental-health conversations
The bond between humans and dogs. It's the entire reason most people have dogs in the first place. It's the wagging tail when you come home. The trust.
The shared rituals around food, walks, and play.
That bond is built on positive interactions repeated over time. For most of us, brushing your dogs teeth can be the opposite of a positive interaction.
We all want to do the right thing by our dogs. So we try. But then your dog ends up with fear and anxiety around an everyday object — the toothbrush, the drawer it lives in, the sound of you walking toward them with it. It's totally normal to feel that way about it.
Here's the thing about brushing
The toothbrush could work... It can be very effective.
The other uncomfortable truth about brushing? Even the most dedicated owner who brushes daily is only reaching a small portion of the surfaces that matter. You can only brush what the dog will let you reach — and that's mostly the outside of the front teeth.
So even the people doing it "right" aren't really doing it right. The dog's mouth simply isn't designed for human brushing access, and no amount of patience or technique changes that.

Why dental treats are so popular and why they're not really working
This is the gap the entire dental-treat industry has been filling for decades. Pet owners want to do something for their dog's oral health. They don't want to fight with a toothbrush. And they love giving their dog a treat.
A product that promises to clean teeth and be received as a beloved treat solves an emotional problem perfectly — even when it doesn't solve the dental one.
Why Prodogi was built
Every product I've ever formulated started by asking the same question: where is the pain point? Having seen this same thing for years — and struggling to find a solution myself, my answer to that question was clear. So we set out with a specific set of goals:
Prioritize daily comfort.
A happy pet is a comfortable pet — the goal is a dog that feels at ease every single day.
Simplify the routine.
Trade the stressful daily struggle for a seamless ritual that fits effortlessly into your life.
Uncouple care from calories.
Keep the joy of playtime treats for bonding, and reserve daily maintenance for a targeted, clean solution.
Raise the bar.
Replace anecdotal trends with a standard of quality built on rigorous, real-world data and testing.
Focus on the full picture.
A coordinated approach that supports your dog's overall well-being from every angle — not just temporary fixes.
Prodogi Strips were designed to fit naturally into the relationship that already exists between pet owners and their dogs. The interaction takes about three seconds.
The dog doesn't run away or feel cornered, and the bond stays intact. There's no compromise between being a responsible pet owner and being a fun one.
I use Prodogi Strips on my own dog. He takes it easily. I know it's working — and I see it working over time.
